Kaylie Knick Broadway VA Obituary Death – Beloved Kaylie Grace Knick Is Dead
Kaylie attended Broadway High School, where she took part in a variety of activities and sports, including swimming, basketball, track, wrestling, skateboarding, and jump rope competitions. She had a lively sense of humor, a talent for making people smile, and a way of expressing herself that made her memorable. Whether she was sharing a joke, creating the perfect playlist, or enjoying time with friends, Kaylie brought a distinctive spark to everyday life.
Outside school, Kaylie enjoyed spending time outdoors, sunbathing in her backyard, dreaming about fast cars, and listening to Bruno Mars. She also loved shopping, getting tacos from El Ranchero, and visiting Heritage Park, where she was known to help rescue baby kittens. Her side jobs mowing lawns and babysitting reflected her independent streak and determination to earn money for the things she enjoyed. Her affection for her dogs, Tinkerbell and Scout, was another cherished part of her life.
Kaylie is survived by her parents, Ethan and Jenny, her brother Virgil, her boyfriend Jake, her best friends Riley and Chris, and her cousins Penelope and Evelyn, whom she loved dearly. Her family described her kindness as unmatched and her energy as infectious. Though her passing has left those closest to her devastated, the memories of her humor, warmth, and unmistakable personality will remain with them.
A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway. A celebration of Kaylie’s life will follow on Sunday, October 25, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Heritage Park Pavilion, where loved ones are invited to share their favorite memories. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to a memorial scholarship established in Kaylie’s name. As family and friends gather to honor her, may they find comfort in one another and in the many ways Kaylie made their lives brighter.
